What went well:
My animation is the most complex animation I have made so far, I have become more confident and improved on my 3D modelling skills within Cinema 4D. I have learnt how to use new tools within the software e.g. spline tool and hair material tool. I have also learn’t more about the different types of lighting to use in the software specifically the physical sky option and how important lighting is when rendering scenes.
I am happy with how my animation turned out, and that it involves lots of different types of scenes which demonstrates my technical skills. From feedback of the animation it seems to communicate it’s message well about the need to live sustainably.
Weaknesses/ places to improve:
I would off liked to make the on a walk scenes more realistic and detailed by having large trees covered in leaves in them but my laptop wasn’t able to handle this and would freeze when I used the hair material (I needed for the leaves) too much. I need to fix my laptop problem so I can carry on being more ambitious with my animations and create more detailed scenes.
I could improve in small places by adding slightly more details to the animations, for example in The living room scene with the burger I could off used after effects to edit something onto the tv screen to make it look like the tv was playing a show.
Also if I made my own audio instead of getting audio off the internet I could make the audio match my animation perfectly and match it more to each scene. However I still think that audio that I have used goes well with my animation.
