These are all the animations I made during this module that were not part of my final animation.
In this animation i’ve combined both 3D and 2D animation. I made the space background including the spinning planets in Cinema 4D and the foreground of the car driving along the road in Adobe Illustrator and animated it in after effects. I gave it a Synthwave art style look and colour scheme and I paired it with very chill and relaxing hip hop music to give it a relaxed look and atmosphere. It could be used for an animation to pair with relaxing music for a music video.
I made this because I wanted to experiment with combining both types of animation and I think it went well for my first time.
Making this animation gave me more practice with sooth camera movement through a scene. The camera movement makes it feel like you are flying fast along a neon road into a tunnel at the end.
I made this animation for practice before I started making my sustainability animation. I was practicing camera movement and creating a large scene in this. I made a mountain scene with a large body of water in the middle, I did this because I knew for my sustainability animation I would be making nature scenes.
I then had a falling man so my challenge was to make the camera move smoothly and perfectly with the man as he fell. I wanted to practice camera movement as it’s an incredibly important part of my sustainability animation because it’s from the point of view of what people and animals see.
In this animation I was practicing using the display tag in Cinema 4D as I had to get the perfect moment when the tube covered a letter to make the letter disappear and the new one appear, to make it look like the tube was re arranging the letters. I also thought it would be a good quick, fun animation to put on my instagram as it shows my name and reminds people of my name and my account.
In this animation I was practicing my ability to create smooth satisfying movement. I wanted to make the squares move in a way that was satisfying to look at, in a wave of going bigger then smaller. I also added noise to the animation to give it more affect. I added a noise that is loud at first then fades out to make it look like the squares are having a rippling effect down the F.
I made this animation using Illustrator and After Effects. I drew it all on illustrator then animated the rain drops on After Effects. It’s called “how god watches the rain fall”.
I made this animation on cinema 4D. I wanted to make a realistic water animation in practice to see if my idea for the water scenes in my sustainability (main project) animation would work.
I also wanted to experiment with an unusual point of view as I want to make my sustainability animation from points of views of different animals and humans. I chose to make this animation from the point of view of a watering can head, so you see all the water droplets falling down in front of you.
The making of this animation went well giving me the confidence in my skillset that I am able to create realistic style water scenes in cinema 4D. Also that the point of view style looks interesting and can be played with within animations.
I made this walk cycle on After Effects using the plugin Rubber Hose, I followed a tutorial to teach me how to use the plugin. This is the first walk cycle Ive made so I need to keep practicing at it to make my characters walk more realistically.

I made this animation using the new skills I learnt during my first tutorial with Abhi in After effects. I drew all the illustrations on illustrator and used After Effects to animate it.
